Bronto Trip

Amanda Smith brought her Bronto shirt along on her trip to the Galapagos, and sent us the pictures.
It looks like she managed to coax other dinosaurs with it :)

November 15th Raffle Winners

Howdy all, what a great event it was!

Thank you all for showing up, and for the good community spirit you showed that day.
Between the raffle tickets and t-shirt sales, we managed to raise an additional $1600 for the Bronto fund, put aside for future upkeep or repairs.

I will post a gallery of pictures from the birthday bash later on, but in the meantime we still have one unclaimed prize drawn during the Raffle.
The winning ticket is 662339.

If you have the winning ticket, please come forward and email me at donate@savethebronto.com with your name and address, and a scan or picture of your ticket.

Congratulations to all winners!

Bronto Birthday – November 15th

bronto_bash

Our fundraiser is nearing its end, and we would like to thank you all for your generosity and celebrate Bronto’s new lease on life by throwing him/her a birthday bash on sunday november 15th, from 1pm to 4pm. The event will be held on Bronto’s lawn (on the rock quarry trail, in front of the brontosaurus statue – click here to see the map).

Here are the planned events:
- Final fundraiser tally, and goals achieved with your help
- Official Brontosaurus day proclamation from the mayor’s office
- Photos with the Brontosaurus (the gates will be open, so you’ll be able to get up close), and an opportunity to share your memories of the old statue on camera
- Games
- Live music
- Raffles
- Demonstrations from “Simon the Pig” from Pig Pals, and the full herd of goats from Goat Patrol (16 goats) – weather permitting, as the animals do get miserable when it rains
- A special bouncy house for the little ones will also be available, if the weather permits it as well

We also invited the “Only Burger” truck, which will be offering burgers (veggie and turkey as well) and refreshments, and will still have a few Bronto shirt for sales there.

We hope to see your there!

– Northgate Park neighborhood Association

P.S: In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Museum of Life and Science’s dome shelter, which can be found on the parking lot across the street from the museum (click here to see the map).

T-Shirt Sale Event – Saturday 3rd
